    dead 8 film club
The Dead Eight Film Club is gathering videos for the next coming short film showing on the 27th of March. Much like the olden’ days of Small Pond we are attempting to keep the local art house community in contact each other with showings from local filmmakers who have worked and sweated to keep their passion alive.

The showing last October was a great success and we would like to create more interest. Come and mingle with your favorite fellow film makers…and discuss your latest endeavors.

So if you’re interested in showing your new work to the local community without the cost of having to enter a film festival or renting a movie house. We will give you that opportunity to project your work onto the screen. Please email me your movie information (Length, format, and content). We take all sorts of projects, ranging from documentary, narrative short, and experimental. You can reach me at shakey_russ@hotmail.com.

The venue is at the Boise State Communication Building, near the Tennis Courts on campus. The projection room is in our studio, Room 115. The showing starts at 7:00PM, and plan to bring two dollars as a donation to our clubs future educational workshops. Food and Drink are allowed, but please be kind and remember that the studio in which we do our showings is a public facility and is trusted to us with kindness.

    Please spread the word.

I'll try to have one thing or another for you. If I can get Kim, Nathan & Leyla over to my house in the next couple of weeks, I can show what I wanted to show in October!

Should I bring my stuff on a tape or DVD?

We let Craze Agency talent know about this event. Wished we were in town to attend. Best of luck, let us know how it went.
